Mission

To provide comprehensive nutrition care including safe, wholesome foods for patients and personnel authorized to subsist at Weed Army Community Hospital; nutritional assessment of authorized beneficiaries; medical nutrition therapy for authorized beneficiaries; nutrition education and health promotion in support of readiness; consultation and support services for commanders regarding nutrition aspects of Army programs, field training exercises, and joint training exercises; and applied research.

Services Provided

Individual and group nutrition assessment, education, counseling, and coordination of care for preventative health or disease management to include obesity, overweight, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, failure to thrive, and more.
