  GS 0185-11 Social Worker
Social Worker - Social Worker providing designated patient planning coordination for the mental health patients and families. Also provides coordination with hospital staff and other community agencies. Provides intensive social casework and group work services to military personnel and their dependents who are seen in the Mental Health Service for evaluation, treatment, or ongoing rehabilitation for serious and complex personal or environmental difficulties.
  GS 2005-05 Supply Tech
Reconciles supply transactions and financial records. Reviews errors and makes corrections. Conducts inventories and inputs adjustments required. Identifies inventory in-transit, duplicate transactions, and other discrepancies. Manages the installation and integration of DMLSS system updates and patches. Provides guidance and training to system users. Serves as assistant system administrator for the DMLSS system. Issues medical gases, serves as COR on the medical gas contract, maintains appropriate certifications. Prepares and submits billing documentation for supported rotational and/or external units. Performs basic analysis of the medical supply program, working from DMLSS reports and recommendations, demand trends, Command requirements, records, and discussion with item managers etc. Plans, organizes and coordinates the work and work schedules of the section.
  GS 0671-09 Health System Spec
Clinical Data Analyst , develops and manages the WACH's Outcome Metrics projects to include periodic re-analysis of existing (e.g. Well Woman, Lipid, Diabetic Clinics, Post-deployment Health Assessment) and implementation of new studies (e.g. Tobacco Cessation, Adult and Child Obesity). Analyzes current and projected health care needs and services of the beneficiary population by monitoring demographics. As the analyst responsible for population based assessment of beneficiaries eligible for care within the MTF, develops cost, population and workload data from a variety of central information systems and databases. Assists with the development and management of complex health care programs. Conducts studies and analyses and makes recommendations for the improvement of population health. Prepares briefings for MTF Commander. Develops new databases for WACH based on analysis of current databases and applications in order to meet user requirements.
  GS 2005-06 Supply Tech
Supply Tech - Identifies, initiates, plans and executes the WTU supply program. Deals directly with key personnel within the WTU organization. As the WTU accountable property officer, with delegated signature authority, the incumbent is responsible for approximately 100-175 line items in various commodity classes. Maintains unit property book and maintains supply records on a formal supply accounting basis. Initiates and processes requisitions, purchase requests, reports of survey, cash collection vouchers, statement of charges, inventory adjustment reports, equipment status reports, ammunition reports, material readiness, and other reports required by higher headquarters.
  GS 0203-05 Human Resources Assistant (MIL)(OA)
Human Resources Assistant (OA)(MIL) – Employee prepares and tracks a wide variety of military personnel actions. Some of these actions include submitting Electronic Military Personnel Office (EMILPO) and Electronic Data (EDAS). Responsible for ensuring proper documentation is completed and processed for a variety of military pay actions.
  GS 0186-07 Social Services Assistant
Works as case manager for CMHS and ASAP and is responsible for coordinating inpatient treatment for those soldiers who need inpatient care. Case manager is also responsible for preparing records, filing treatment notes in the record, tracks and ensures contact is made to patients or commanders who do not show and ensures that new appointments are scheduled to minimize treatment lags. Ensures that initial intake paperwork is completed and filed accordingly, ensures that discharge paperwork is provided by the releasing facility, coordinates follow up upon return with Mental Health or ASAP staff accordingly.
  GS 0318-05 Secretary (OA)
Actively participates in the management of an organization by performing routine administrative clerical work. Receives calls, greets visitors, and in processes all personnel. Produces Security badges for all staff, Red Cross Volunteers, Reservists, and National Guard assigned to MEDDAC. Serves as the liaison to the Post G-3 for all centrally funded military schools for MEDDAC and YPG Health Clinic. Processes all Requests and Authorization for TDY Travel of DOD Personnel (DD Form 1610), and coordinates travel arrangements for professional and military training. Maintains training databases that are critical to the status reporting for both Western Region Medical Command (WRMC) and the Commanding General of National Training Center, Fort Irwin. Receives and reviews all incoming mail for the organization. Establishes and maintains personnel files for all staff members assigned to MEDDAC.
  GS 0610-11 OR Nurse
Provides nursing service including scrub or circulating nurse duties for operations ranging from those involving less complex surgical procedures, for example, appendectomies, to those involving complex and extensive surgical procedures such as, orthopedics, and gynecology procedures. In the absence of a military nurse assumes the responsibility for all nursing activities within the operating room. This includes but is not limited to: in conjunction with the Chief, Anesthesia Service schedules the operative cases to enhance limited nursing resources and plant limitations; and makes duty assignments for nursing personnel assigned to the operating room. Also functions as Hospital Infection Control Officer managing the WACH Infection Control Program. Participates on hospital department committees when assigned.
  GS 0679-05 Medical Support Asst
Recieves patients in the laboratory. Verifies ordered test requests from CHCS and ensures patient has met the specific requirements of each test. Routes specimen deliveries from other departments to the laboratory. Enters, manipulates, and/or retrieves information and data from the Composite Healthcare System (CHCS) in performance of duties. When reports are received from civilian or military referral laboratories, accurately logs results and date received into the automated data base or manually maintained log books. Maintains files of laboratory copies of the report in an organized, systematic manner which allows easy retrieval of results. Performs a variety of administrative and record transactions associated with the shipment of specimens to referral laboratories for the Department of Pathology. Ensures that special procedures for collection and shipment of specimens are investigated, coordinated with the referral laboratory.
