This program is made possible for military sponsored ID card holders over 18 years of age through a partnership between the American Red Cross and Fort Irwin DENTAC.

The Dental Assistant Training Program provides each student with quality training given by the dentists and Non-Commissioned Officers of Shuttleworth Dental Clinic.  At the completion of the program you will have marketable skills. In order for you to complete the program, you must remain in the program from the start date to the graduation date. This is a commitment of six months with no time off except those dates as determined by the DENTAC. The point of contact at Shuttleworth Dental Clinic is the NCOIC at 380-3173. 

The duty hours are from 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday to Friday for six months.
